Georgia Gwinnett College is seeking a Student Assistant to serve as a Peer Supplemental Instruction Leader (PSI Leader) and tutor. You will support student success by facilitating PSI sessions, tutoring, and academic coaching on campus.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in at least 6 credits, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and have earned an A in any course they support. You must balance a part-time schedule and adhere to FERPA guidelines while representing the AEC in campus activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits at Georgia Gwinnett College.
• Maintain a 3.0 GPA.
• Must have earned an A in any class they support.
• Excellent written and oral communication and computing skills.
• Must be in good academic standing and maintain good standing for duration of employment.
• Must maintain a regular weekly schedule.
• Must handle confidential information and follow FERPA guidelines.
• Ability to work with students, faculty, staff and administration.

Responsabilités

• Perform duties as a Peer Supplemental Instruction (PSI) Leader, Peer Tutor, and/or Academic Coach as assigned
• Attend all mandatory Peer Leader training sessions and meetings
• Participate in AEC-sponsored campus events
• Facilitate assigned PSI, tutoring, and/or academic coaching sessions
• Submit accurate attendance records and session summaries in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by AEC staff
