Lakeview Health Services, Inc. is seeking a part-time, recovery-oriented professional to support residents at West End Heights in Ithaca, NY. Under supervision of the Program Manager, you will help peers develop recovery plans, provide advocacy, and connect them with essential community resources.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care, safe communication, and collaboration with the treatment team. Requires a high school diploma, lived experience with mental health services, and a valid NY

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years' experience with special needs consumers.
• Lived experience with mental health services required.
• Completion of Peer Certification Program within one year of hire date.
• CPRP credential is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as active member of the treatment team and participate in team meetings.
• Assist peers in developing recovery plans.
• Provide psycho-education with focus on referrals and linkages to essential services.
• Share personal recovery experience to support others.
• Provide case management and service collaboration as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and document progress.
• Provide advocacy services on behalf of clients.
