Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support Mills Park Pediatrics in Orlando, FL. The role covers clinics at Orlando with occasional support at Celebration and East Orlando, weekdays up to 10 hours per day, about 24 hours weekly.

Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, SLP licensure, and BLS. Spanish bilingual preferred; feeding experience is a plus. Responsibilities include patient assessments, documentation, and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats.
• Bilingual Spanish (Preferred).
• Feeding experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversees the care provided by therapy aides, according to established regulations and practice standards.
• Maintains productivity standards through effective time management and clinical efficiency.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards.
• Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans with goals and frequency.
• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved.
• Documents accurately and timely using CPT codes and insurance guidelines.
• Identifies need for patient education and provides teaching.
