Job summary

Family Services is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support the Day Treatment Program for Children and Adolescents in Northeast Wisconsin. The RN will implement health-related activities within DHS 40 regulations and program policies, coordinating care and monitoring medications as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include health assessments, client education groups, and reporting to physicians and Day Treatment staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s in Nursing.
• Minimum experience: 1 year clinical youth experience or related training.
• Active Wisconsin RN license; CPR and BLS instructor certification or license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical services to meet clients' health needs.
• Monitor medication adherence and communicate with physicians/pharmacies.
• Document regular health assessments including vitals and measurements.
• Conduct education groups for Day Treatment clients.
• Relay observations to physicians and staff regarding meds and client function.
• Provide ongoing medical education to site staff as needed.
• Supervise medication distribution and review documentation.
• Adhere to RN guidelines and participate in treatment meetings.
• Provide annual Universal Precaution and EpiPen training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
