Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Family Services Division. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate children in care with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

Work hours are 2 PM to 11 PM, totaling 17 hours per week. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring interventions, and coordinating with a pediatrician and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• CPR (adult/pediatric) within 1 month of hire.
• TCI/CARE training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process (assess, plan, intervene, evaluate).
• Administer medications and treatments per policies; monitor outcomes.
• Document health records accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with pediatrician and multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and care continuity.
• Conduct health history intake and update plans as needed.
• Educate clients and families about health care and wellness.
