Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Family Services Division, applying the nursing process to assess and support children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.

The role involves administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating with a pediatrician and multidisciplinary team. The schedule is 2 PM to 11 PM, 17 hours per week, with casual first aid and crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of nursing practices include first aid, medication administration protocols, CPR, and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of MD State and CDC guidelines/mandates for immunization.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments according to best practices.
• Monitor vital signs and collect lab specimens.
• Assist pediatrician with assessments and rounds.
• Triages and provides First aid and CPR as needed.
• Document care and health information in medical records.
