Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse to provide nursing care within the Family Services Division and residential settings. The RN will use the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene and evaluate children with emotional and behavioral difficulties, and provide first aid for staff, volunteers, and visitors.

The work schedule is Monday to Thursday 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with duties across St. Vincent’s Villa and Villa Maria School.

Qualifications

• Maryland RN license required.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and CARE training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per care plans.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor vitals and collect specimens.
• Assist pediatrician with exams and rounds; provide triage in routine/urgent situations.
• Document all care and maintain medical records accurately.
• Educate clients, staff and families on health care and safety.
