Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for clinical practice.
• Current and unrestricted license to practice (cross-state licensure as needed).

• Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
• Passion for working with children.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Establish occupational therapy goals using dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
• Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing per regulations and policy.
• Provide play-based and goal-based interventions to promote sensory processing, regulation, and daily living skills.
• Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to achieve individualized goals.
• Collaborate with families to understand values, interests, and goals.
• Implement programming considering sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social aspects.

Education

Master’s degree in related field

Current and unrestricted license/certification to practice
