Job summary

Shriners Children's is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant for the Spokane Outpatient Department to provide comprehensive, family-centered care to pediatric patients. The MA will support clinicians with procedures, patient intake and discharge, and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities include cast/splint support, dressings, and preparing the clinic for daily operations. Required are a High School Diploma/GED, Certified Medical Assistant, and BLS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant certification needed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers and clinic staff with procedures and patient intake/departure.
• Assists with casting, splinting, dressing application/removal, and skin care instructions.
• Prepares clinic for daily operations, monitors supplies, and orders items as needed.
• Documents patient information accurately in the EMR.
