Job summary

Special Kids in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse PRN to provide skilled nursing care for medically fragile children at the Kleinau Nursing Center, coordinating with physical, occupational, recreational and speech therapists.

Responsibilities include head-to-toe daily assessments, medication administration, documentation in the EHR, patient positioning and daily care, family education, and collaboration with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active Tennessee RN license and CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn EMR/work applications.
• Part-time availability with no evenings/weekends/holidays as stated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises nursing activities for the assigned shift.
• Performs head-to-toe assessments and documents in EHR.
• Administers medications and treatments per standards and policies.
• Collaborates with Medical Director, Therapists, and other team members.
• Provides patient and family education and participates in quality improvement activities.
