Job summary

The Arc Montgomery County is seeking a Registered Nurse (Part-Time) to support children with special health care needs in the KFICCC program. The role is based in Derwood/Germantown, MD with afternoon hours and a total of 4 hours per weekday.

The RN will provide skilled nursing care, administer medications, monitor equipment, and collaborate with families and the care team to ensure safety and wellbeing for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years old.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure in Maryland and CPR certification.
• Some professional pediatric nursing experience.
• Commitment to nursing care for children with special health needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for children in the KFICCC program.
• Perform nursing duties for all children to ensure safety and wellbeing.
• Administer medications and monitor medical equipment.
• Update immunizations and medical forms as required.
• Communicate with families about medical conditions and visits.
• Document calls and conversations with families and staff.
