Job summary

42 North Dental, built by dentists for dentists, seeks a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. Provide pediatric preventive and restorative care in a multi-specialty practice.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, creating treatment plans, updating records, and collaborating with a dedicated team. Requires DMD/DDS from CODA, state licensure, and BLS/CPR certification. Per diem compensation with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high standards of care and ethics.
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education.
