Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join the team at Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. The role emphasizes high-quality pediatric care, collaboration, and a flexible schedule designed to support long-term careers, with an immediate focus on preventive, restorative and cosmetic dentistry for children.

Per diem compensation ranges from $1,000 to $1,200, with potential for growth based on patient load and % of collections.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment options with patients and update medical/dental records.
• Interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain high quality standards of care and professionalism.
