Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Pediatric Dentist to join the Wellesley Dental Group in Wellesley, MA. The role offers per diem pay with earnings based on a percentage of collections and includes integrated orthodontics and periodontics within the practice.

Ideal candidates will hold a DMD or DDS, be board eligible or certified in pediatric dentistry, and possess a current state license plus Hepatitis B vaccination. Flexible days and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
Board eligible or board certified in pediatric dentistry.
Current state license to practice dentistry.
Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
Proof of malpractice insurance.
Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Promote oral health and disease prevention.
Diagnose oral diseases.
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
Review treatment plan options with patients.
Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism within the dental office.
Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
