Part Time Payroll Specialist (CONTRACT)

You are a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who enjoys working independently and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. The role offers 10–16 total hours every two weeks—not per week. The exact workdays are flexible, with preferred options of Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday. Payroll must be processed and submitted by noon each Wednesday.

This position pays: $30-35/hour

What you will be doing:

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, ensuring submission by 12:00 p.m. each Wednesday.
• Process payroll deductions, payments, and reporting, including workers’ compensation and 401(k) contributions.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits.
• Work a flexible, part-time schedule, with preferred scheduling options of Monday–Wednesday or Tuesday–Thursday, while meeting the Wednesday payroll deadline.
