Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting, finance, or related field; four years of full-time payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates payroll processing for all District employees and oversees payroll operations including data entry and accounting across the district.
• Develops and implements internal control procedures to safeguard payroll processing.
• Examines accounts to ensure proper classification and recording of transactions.
• Prepares payroll journal entries and projection of cash needs.
• Maintains payroll records, tax reports, and retirement reports; verifies payroll inputs and outputs.
