Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate at our Birmingham area pawn stores. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and help with merchandise displays while delivering excellent service.

Qualified applicants enjoy commission on productivity and an hourly wage. Earned Wage Access, a 401k plan after six months, and employee discounts are available to all staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to handle firearms and become firearms certified.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets and interacts with customers to understand needs and recommend solutions.
• Performs cash handling and loan/transaction processing.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loans per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn/buy transactions to customers.
• Works with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Completes assigned training and other duties as needed.
