Job summary

FirstCash Pawn is seeking entry-level, part-time Retail Sales Associate in our stores nationwide, including Austin, TX. The role blends customer service with sales, processing transactions, loans, and other duties in a fast-paced environment.

Base pay ranges from $14.00 to $18.00 per hour, with an earned commission on transactions. Commission can reach 8% and may add about $2.06 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms in some locations (FFL) and become firearms certified.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and maintain the sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and procedures.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to ensure a positive experience.
