Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate at our Houston-area pawn stores. You will greet customers, process sales and loans, and help with everyday transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

We offer hourly pay from $10.00 to $14.00 with a potential commission of up to 8% on personal transactions. Earned Wage Access, employee discounts, 401k, and flexible hours enhance this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods as needed; ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply!
• Minimum age 18 years old; High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build rapport to tailor financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures.
• Keep sales floor clean, stocked, and display merchandise.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies.
• Manage cash and negotiable items per policies.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Partner with staff to create a positive customer experience.
• Complete assigned training.
• Perform other duties as needed.
