Job summary

FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our pawn store team. The role involves greeting customers, processing sales and loan transactions, and providing friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a straightforward commission structure that pays you for every transaction, with additional earning potential of up to 8% on transactions. Regular attendance, a high school diploma, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifications

Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this role.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 18 years of age (WA: minimum 21).
Entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to serve customers.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
Cash handling experience preferred.
Knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise preferred.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills including verbal, non-verbal and active listening.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions.
Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies.
Keep sales floor clean and stocked; manage merchandise display.
Handle all cash and negotiable items per policy.
Assist with inventory placement and cross-functional store tasks.
Communicate pawnbroker and transaction details clearly to customers.
