Job summary

Allied Universal in Dallas, TX seeks a Security Officer Part Time Licensed Patrol Driver to protect clients at manufacturing and industrial sites. You’ll work a flexible schedule, and use our Claim a Shift platform to explore new roles.

You will perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professional communication and customer service. Pay is $18.50 per hour for part-time shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Ages 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• Driving positions require a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, and parking areas to identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures and assist with authorized flow of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed reports and patrol documentation; communicate with site contacts and leadership as needed.
