Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring for part-time Patient Transporters, Patient Sitters, and Housekeepers at UPMC Altoona in Altoona, PA. The roles involve patient observation, safe transportation of patients and items, and maintaining a clean, orderly healthcare environment across hospital premises.

Qualifications

• Finger Print Scan and clear a Child Abuse Report are required.
• Medical EVS experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of PPE is a plus.
• Post-offer medical, background screening and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient observation in coordination with RN and Xanitos Leadership.
• Safely transport patients, specimens, supplies, equipment, and related items.
• Maintain high levels of patient and customer satisfaction.
• Follow body mechanics, policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
• Work to keep facilities clean and orderly on client premises.
