Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assembles, completes, and processes patients' charts and keeps records accurately identified.
• Transcribes doctors' orders and checks charts for completeness.
• Orders unit supplies and maintains inventory.
• Assists with receiving, distributing, and sorting supplies.
• Obtains lab and x-ray reports and notifies doctors of results.
• Uses IDX RIS/PACS to track patient arrival times and informs front desk of delays.
• Greets patients, verifies information, and guides to dressing rooms.
• Documents equipment issues and reports to staff.
• Copies patient paperwork and routes originals to front desk and reading rooms.
• Receives calls and responds to inquiries from visitors.
• Reports unusual incidents to supervisory personnel.
