Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years of medical business office experience.

Responsibilities

• Billing and claim submissions; charge capture and payment posting; insurance verification and eligibility determinations; obtaining pre-authorizations; and account follow-up and payment resolution.
• Counseling patients on insurance coverage, payment options, and financial responsibilities with professionalism and compassion.
• Assisting patients in identifying and accessing community resources.
• Following the US Oncology Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
