Job summary

Select Medical in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Patient Service Specialist for a part-time role at our outpatient physical therapy center. You will greet patients, register them, collect co-pays, and support both patient care and business operations from the front desk.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with hours varying, and compensation ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience. Part-time employees may qualify for a 401k after meeting service hour milestones.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience verifying insurance is essential.
• Healthcare environment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and explain what to expect during their visit.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and by phone.
• Communicate with attorneys, insurers, translators, market leaders and teams as needed.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and handle insurance verifications.
