Signature Dental Implants & Oral Surgery is seeking a Part-Time Patient Coordinator to join our well-established team. You will manage patient scheduling, greet patients professionally, and coordinate between patients and clinicians to ensure a smooth care experience.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to HIPAA guidelines, with duties spanning front-office operations and patient data collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or healthcare-related education preferred.
• Previous experience in dental or healthcare scheduling preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.
• Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
• Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in the handbook and responsibilities defined.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and work to fill empty schedule time.
• Greet patients in a friendly, professional manner upon arrival and ensure they feel welcome.
• Register new patients and update demographics, collecting detailed personal and financial information.
• Coordinate patient needs with the clinical team to minimize wait times and optimize the patient experience.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office and reception area for a welcoming environment.
• Take and relay messages for providers and staff promptly and accurately.
• Oversee timely processing of mail and other administrative tasks supporting daily operations.
