Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Part Time Patient Dining Associate/Dietary Aide for Olive View UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, CA. The role requires a year of healthcare serving and patient dining experience, with a pay rate of $25.15 per hour.

Schedule is part time with open availability; weekends and holidays are required. Responsibilities include assisting patients with menu selections, coordinating with nursing, and assembling meals accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• One year of healthcare serving and patient dining experience required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds and maneuver food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure dietary requirements are met.
• Determine alternate menus for allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences.
• Assemble meals according to patient selections and retrieve trays on time.
• Adhere to HIPAA, regulatory standards, and confidentiality policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining clean workstations.
• Support the dietitians and monitor patients on restricted diets as needed.
• Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by Morrison Healthcare policies.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
