Job summary

Intermountain Health's Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO is hiring a part-time Day Shift Patient Care Technician (6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.). This role supports the patient care team and may assume Health Unit Coordinator duties as needed.

A Colorado CNA license and BLS for healthcare providers are required, along with basic computer literacy and strong written and verbal communication. Intermountain offers education assistance up to $5,250 annually and a comprehensive benefits package to

Qualifications

Current Colorado CNA license.
BLS certification for healthcare providers.
Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide basic patient care including toileting, bathing, linen changes and comfort measures.
Report and record patient care findings promptly and seek qualified assistance when needed.
May perform telemetry duties and monitor patients as required.
Transports medications to RN as needed on the unit.
Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care.
May serve as Health Unit Coordinator, handling phones, orders, and unit records.
