Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Tech to join the nursing care team on a part-time AM/PM shift. You will provide direct patient care under a licensed nurse, support daily activities, and assist with admission/discharge processes as needed.

The role requires at least 1 year of nurse tech experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Expect a collaborative hospital environment in West Columbia, SC.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year as a nurse tech.
• Required Certifications: BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Performs activities including nutrition services, transport, hygiene, mobility and data collection.
• Participates in patient care plan interventions and reports changes in condition.
• Maintains safety and a comfortable patient environment per unit standards.
• Completes clerical and environmental tasks and supports department operations.
