Job summary

Lexington Health in West Columbia, SC, seeks a Nursing Tech to join the care team on a part-time night shift (7pm-7:30am). The role provides direct patient care under a licensed nurse, supports daily living activities, and assists with admissions, discharges, and documentation in the EMR.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year as a nurse tech, BLS certification within 90 days, and a commitment to safe, patient-centered care in a Magnet-recognized health system.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year of nurse tech experience.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: BLS within first 90 days.
• Required Training: None.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Performs patient plan of care-related interventions and safety duties.
• Maintains a comfortable patient environment and assists with daily living activities.
• Enters information into the EMR and handles chart maintenance.
• Restocks rooms, prepares patients for discharge, and coordinates supplies.
• Supports quality/process improvement and teamwork on the unit.
