Trinity Health Livingston - Brighton, MI is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Progressive Care Unit. The role supports licensed nurses by delivering direct patient care and assisting with ADLs, often in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, at least one year of direct care experience or related coursework (CENA, PCT, MA or EMT), and will participate in weekend and holiday rotations. Training is provided to ensure success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year direct care experience or completion of related course (CENA, PCT, MA, EMT).
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsabilités

• Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, positioning, and ambulation.
• Collect specimens (blood and blood cultures) and manage peripheral IVs; document data.
