Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of BLS CPR preferred or required at orientation.
• No prior experience required; options include STNA/CNA training or nursing student with clinical rotation.
• Must be able to multitask, communicate well, and use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Check vital signs and report changes to a nurse.
• Assist patients with moving, dressing, and eating (ADLs).
• Collect samples such as urine as directed.
• Maintain patient documentation and assist with unit clerical tasks as needed.
