Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• MA/STNA/Phlebotomist is preferred.
• BCLS certification is required (may be obtained during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Moves throughout the facility, assists in emergencies, and provides direct patient care and ADL support.
• Performs clerical/administrative tasks as needed.
• Works under the direction of an RN within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with unit staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
• Performs tasks according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Upholds Pomerene Hospital's values and mission.
• Supports PSP/family involvement in patient care with patient consent.
• Encourages PSP/family presence at the bedside and participation in care.
