Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital seeks a Patient Care Technician for a full-time day shift (7 am–7:30 pm), three days weekly with weekend rotation, under supervision of licensed staff in a busy hospital.

Education: H.S. diploma or GED. Experience: 1 year bedside patient care in hospital/long-term care. Licenses: BCLS required; CNA and PCT program certs preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of bedside patient care experience in a hospital or long-term care facility required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required.
• CNA certification and other Patient Care Technician program certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to patients under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety and follow hospital policy across the patient lifecycle.
