Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Tech for a full-time day shift (7:00 am–7:30 pm), three days per week with weekend rotation. You will work under licensed staff to deliver patient care across all ages, using procedures and equipment per policy.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of bedside care in a hospital or long-term facility. BCLS is required; CNA and/or PCT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED required.
• 1 year of bedside patient care experience in a hospital or long-term care facility.
• BCLS certification required.
• CNA and/or PCT program certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle under supervision of licensed clinical staff.
• Demonstrate competency with treatments, procedures and equipment as per hospital policy.
• Assist with basic nursing tasks and patient comfort during day shifts.
