Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills.
• Proficient in computer systems and devices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions.
• Verifies insurance requirements and understands insurance benefits.
• Ensures that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are completed.
• Collects non-covered fees.
