You will obtain demographic, insurance, and liability information while coordinating with multiple departments and hospital systems.

The role includes verifying insurance, collecting non-covered fees, and ensuring accurate data entry across patient records.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school or equivalent.
• One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and interview skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer systems and computer devices.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions.
• Verifies insurance requirements, obtains and understands insurance benefits.
