Job summary

Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center in Oregon City, OR is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator for the Part-Time/Day Shift. You will greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and document details to ensure accurate registration and reimbursement.

In this role you’ll support fast-paced patient access activities, verify eligibility, and collaborate with care teams to deliver compassionate, human-centered service from the moment a patient enters our facility.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
• Three (3) years experience in Patient Access or Business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• Three (3) years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
• Knowledge in medical billing codes.
• One (1) year knowledge of Epic applications.

Responsibilities

• The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately.
• Assist patients and families with check-in and registration processes to support a smooth care journey.
• Coordinate with care teams to ensure timely patient access and accurate data capture.
