Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham is seeking a per-diem/part-time Pathologist to provide diagnostic pathology services with emphasis on breast, GI, GU, and GYN pathology.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty interest, capable of interpreting surgical pathology and supporting clinical laboratory coverage; call duties are shared with BIDMC colleagues. Occasional coverage at Milton site may occur.

• Subspecialty expertise or strong interest in breast, GI, GU or GYN pathology.
• Commitment to diagnostic excellence and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic pathology services with focus on breast, GI, GU, and GYN pathology.
• Interpret surgical pathology and support clinical laboratory coverage for a range of specialties.
• Share call coverage with BIDMC pathologists; no cytology or autopsy services.
