The role requires a Master’s level PA program, PA(ASCP) certification within one year, and solid knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and growth and development. Part-time schedule; travel not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Masters Level approved Pathologists' Assistant program.
• PA(ASCP) certification must be attained within one year of start date.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, medical practices, and human anatomy.
• Focused attention to detail, communication skills, strong problem-solving capabilities, accountability.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Assist pathologists in preparation and performance of human surgical specimen dissection and postmortem examinations.
