Job summary

Cullman Parks, Recreation, & Sports Tourism seeks a part-time custodian to maintain clean facilities, restrooms, and common areas at Terri Pines. You’ll greet visitors, support safety standards, and assist with event setup and cleanup while upholding CPRST policies.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge in maintenance/janitorial tasks.
• Ability to work independently and communicate in writing and verbally.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Background check and drug/alcohol screening required.
• Experience and training demonstrating the knowledge, skills, and aptitude to perform the defined duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and members while representing Terri Pines and CPRST.
• Maintain a professional environment in line with Terri Pines policies on safety and cleanliness.
• Monitor safety and maintenance standards per CPRST procedures.
• Perform general custodial duties across the facility (restrooms, locker rooms, common areas, offices, pro shop, pool house, dining areas).
• Assist with maintaining cleaning supplies inventory.
• Oversee rental setup and breakdown for events, including post-event cleaning.
• Maintain professionalism and customer service with members and visitors.
• Attend meetings as required by supervisors.
• Foster professional relationships aligned with CPRST core values.
• Work hours may vary, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Demonstrate integrity and strong written/oral communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
