Job summary

SP+ in Honolulu, Hawaii is seeking a part-time Attendant to manage parking flow, guide customers, and maintain garage order. The role requires reliability, a neat appearance, and the ability to perform basic safety and customer-service tasks. Pay is $17.00/hour with benefits opportunities for eligible employees.

Availability for Sundays and Mondays and potential weekend/2nd/3rd shifts may be required. Training and uniform provided; prior driving license may be needed for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience or equivalent
• License: Valid state driver's license if driving a company vehicle
• Availability: Weekend/second or third shift may be required
• Language Skills: Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate with customers
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic with money
• Appearance: Neat, uniformed presentation
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces
• Count vehicles on location during shift
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors
• Patrol levels on foot or in carts
• Assist customers who forgot where they parked
• Be punctual and in uniform for all scheduled shifts
• Assist customers or direct to Facility Manager as needed
• Control traffic at entrances and exits
• Assist in maintenance/repair of parking equipment
• Report accidents, safety hazards, or policy violations
• Notify garage office of debris, spills, or issues
• Substitute for Valets when needed
• Maintain knowledge of garage areas, streets, landmarks and freeways
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties
