Job summary

The Town of Apex is seeking a Pleasant Park Attendant to help keep parks vibrant, welcoming, and safe. You will open/close facilities, maintain restrooms, assist with programs, and patrol trails providing information to visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• <1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
• Ability to follow oral instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Open/close facilities and unlock gates at opening/closing times.
• Clean restrooms, mop floors, and empty trash.
• Maintain park grounds, picnic shelters, and restrooms.
• Set up tables/chairs for programs and events; assist with setup/breakdown.
• Patrol trails and provide information to visitors; ensure safety and cleanliness.
