First Student is hiring a Part Time Paratransit Van Driver in Kalamazoo, Michigan. You will safely transport community members to appointments and errands, assisting with boarding and mobility aids. A chauffeur license and a minimum of 3 years with a valid license are required.

Competenze

• At least 21 years old.
• Must have a chauffeur license.

Mansioni

• Safely transport community members to appointments, errands and other activities.
• Assist passengers getting on/off and with mobility aids.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report any vehicle issues and keep the vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety standards.
• Communicate with passengers, staff and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and leadership during daily operations.
