Job summary

Livingston County is seeking dedicated part-time bus drivers to transport passengers across routes with door-to-door service and occasional out-of-county trips. The role requires a valid Michigan CDL Class C with passenger endorsement, a valid MDOT physical, and the ability to pass a drug screen.

You will record trips, collect fares, and ensure passenger safety, including during boarding. Work hours vary weekly (0–40) with potential weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass physical and drug screen; obtain MDOT Medical Examiner's certification.
• Must be able to acquire Michigan CDL Class C with passenger endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Drive L.E.T.S. vehicle and transport passengers, including those with special needs.
• Maintain trip logs, verify fares, fuel usage and mileage.
• Operate chairlift and secure passengers per standards.
• Complete pre-/post-trip vehicle inspections and report deficiencies.
