First Student, Inc. in Michigan is hiring a Part-Time School Van Driver for Berrien RESA routes. You’ll start with morning pickups and return students home in the afternoon, with potential hours for field trips and special events.

No experience is required; we provide expert training and guidance to help you become a safe, professional First Student van driver. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and flexible/split shifts.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Must hold a chauffeur's license.
• Looking for a part-time schedule with summers off.
• Enjoy working with students.

Mansioni

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the vehicle to prevent distractions.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, etc.).
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the vehicle clean and sanitary.
• Obey all traffic laws and safety standards.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
• Demonstrate leadership and customer service skills.
