Voluntary Action Center of Northern Illinois is seeking dependable and compassionate part‑time Vehicle Operators to join our team in Yorkville, IL. This position is ideal for individuals looking to work 20–29 hours per week and who have the flexibility to work part‑time shifts scheduled within our operating hours of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate agency vehicles under various road and weather conditions.
• Assist passengers boarding, riding, and exiting vehicles.
• Secure mobility devices and provide passenger assistance as needed.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes and passenger movement.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs (trips, mileage, fuel, fares, and hours).
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing VAC’s mission and values.
