Job summary

The Excel Center Meadows in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional/Teacher's Aide to support students in in-person coursework, reinforce understanding, and assist with classroom operations.

You will help with enrollment, credit-recovery programs, and attendance tracking while collaborating with teachers and staff to promote a productive learning environment and student achievement.

Qualifications

• Degree and Credential Requirements - NONE! We value candidates who can demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experiences will help them contribute.
• Tutoring Expertise - Has a good grasp of a variety of subjects with an ability to explain concepts easily to assist high school-age students in an urban, nontraditional, and/or adult education setting, in achieving expected competencies in core academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides in-person academic assistance, guidance, and classroom support to students while helping coordinate school operations.
• Tracks relevant student and school data to support achievement goals, ongoing evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Assists with enrollment for new students and helps with orientation and adapting to school expectations.
