Job summary

The Paraprofessional position at The Excel Center (operated by Goodwill Education Initiatives and supported by Teach Indy) is a part-time role on the northeast side of Indianapolis. General salary range is $13-$16/hr.

The Paraprofessional provides in-person academic assistance, guidance, and classroom support to students while helping coordinate school operations, procedures, and resources to promote an effective learning environment.

Qualifications

• Degree and Credential Requirements – NONE; we value capability and experience.
• Ability to support in-person coursework and assist with credit-recovery programs.
• Knowledge of school operations, attendance tracking, and student information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person academic assistance and classroom support.
• Establish student accounts and maintain SIS data.
• Track assignments, attendance, and documentation.
• Support enrollment and new student orientation.
• Collaborate with instructors to promote student achievement.
• Assist with staff training and school initiatives.
