Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Paramedic to join the Transport EMS team at Baptist Health Hamburg in Lexington, KY. This role involves providing advanced life support, direct patient care, and ambulance transport under medical direction, with emphasis on accurate documentation and readiness of equipment and vehicles.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an active Kentucky EMS Paramedic license, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS at time of consideration.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA or ARC) required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support care to ill or injured patients across age groups.
• Perform direct patient care under direction of medical professionals.
• Complete all required patient care documentation within required timeframes.
• Provide ambulance transport services within the paramedic scope of practice.
• Set priorities for transport of multiple patients and ensure resources and plans are carried out.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, equipment, and ALS gear and keep the ambulance clean and stocked.
